Crashing - not sure why...
So I've been playing the game for ages and clocked about 600 days on my character. But now when I play after 5 minutes, usually after coming out of battle, the game just closes and pulls up the "Mount and Blade Warband has stopped working". My laptop is very capable of running the game and like I've said I hadn't had any problems running it in the past. Could anyone offer any insight into this? I have tried a cache check.

Video card or other hardware could be on the way out. Do any of your other games crash? Bue Screens etc?

Im having the same problem. Playing Nord Invasion OR Native. Mostly when I alt tab or just randomly after playing. Don't get it...

does it do the same on other characters or just the one with six hundred days? do you have auto save on? if those are true you may well have a corrupted save. or it could just be an issue with your rendering file, when i start getting random crashes i delete the file to force a new one to generate and the crashes stop.

i think the best thing to do is look up how to fix it in google...

I'm just using Native at the moment, though I have used mods in the past.

In your documents, there should be a folder labeled mount and blade warband, in that folder is a file labeled rglconfig.txt, delete it and it will generate a new one, it might fix your problem, if not, see if the problem still occurs on a new character, if not, than your save is corrupt and you are SOL, if it does still occur than i have no advice other than to reinstall the game.

Thank you, I deleted the file you mentioned and no problems so far, I will feed back if the problem persists!

i have that problem too but i dont have a file called rglconfig.txt, the only thing i have is rgl_log.txt

its not in your game data folder,its in your document save folder
type rglconfig.txt into your start bar search window and it should find it for you
