How do you disable the cheatmenu

I was tinkering with the cheat menu to learn how the lords and economy behave. (enable cheats, open console with ctrl-~, then type 'cheatmenu'), but now i'm done with it and cant seem to turn it off. 'cheatmenu 0', 'nocheatmenu', typing 'cheatmenu' again, nothing seems to turn it off. anyone know how to get rid of it?

Yes. the cheat menus stay even after you turn cheats off- as do the debug messages that come with turning the cheatmenu on. It's really 'debug mode' more than 'cheat mode' :p

I was in the beta a looooong time ago but i dont remember how to get it gone. =\

type nocheatmenu i had the same problem as you mate :P happens to all of us, typing in nocheatmenu fixed it for me, lemme know how it goes for you

yay it's gone thanks a bunch :) Funny enough i tried the command while i had cheats turned off and the command doesn't work if they are off.

yay! :D ...usually what pissed me off with cheatmenu was the cheat dialogue and the political spam, but its good to hear its fixed! :)

GUYS WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT :( I cant seem to make any of these to work. Please help me and fast because when im in game, I move a little bit and a whole bunch of words appear and then a stupid NPC error comes up every 5 seconds that says Sorry ~~ I was talking to myself (An error which an NPC is trying to rejoin) . PLEASE HELP!

just one crazy step more: when you manage to switch the cheatmenu off, you have to SAVE the game afterwards and next time load the game from that save. if you do not save or if you load save from times you had cheatmenu on, the cheatmenu will again be there... crazy but again it is really like that :))
