how do you change your ministers

hey i apointed the promment citizen and then realized the guy dose nothing. how do i add one of my companions as a minister. and plz dont say i have to restart.

You just go to the minister and say "I would like to appoint a new minister"

Can you appoint a companion, and then find a citizen to appoint? I kinda want Firentis back.

You can always get your compainion back after making them minister and a civilian will take over, and Firentis is only a minister? He should be your most trusted lord.

For some reason, when I try to replace Firentis, only the names of my companions appear. No others show up. And, when I do choose to replace Firentis, I lose Right to Rule and some support from my vassals. Do you know why these oddieis occur? Please let me know, and thanks in advance.

I had my wife with me when I got attacked so I lost her after the battle... (woopsie) but before I could find her i took over a castle and made her minister. Now se is in Thir and she keeps saying " Surrender or die, it's your choice" and i lose my vassels cuz i can't give them fiefs. Can someone help me with this?
