Any Performance/FPS mods??

Anyone know of any performance enhancing or texture reducing mods?? I've turned down all vanilla options to the barebones, low res, windowed, all that.. Still lacking a steady fps, though.. A fierce googling turned up nothing except floris' "gameplay" version, which I seriously doubt adding a ton to the game will help performance-wise playability too much :P

Any suggestions/links??

Lol I do have game booster, but the single game I tried it on actually slowed it down some :| Will give it a try soon though :> (Keep forgetting I even have it downloaded lol)..
