Getting one shotted isn't so terrible but the weapons provided should be at least comparable in capability if not quite equal. For example when you both spawn with the same weapon but only one spawns with a shield there is an obvious balance problem.
also to say that the items were balanced is a understatement. in the old game if you got lucky and you got a bow or a javelin. you pretty much had the worst mella weapons in the game. which pretty much was a dagger and nothing. it still felt balanced thou. i never got frustrated farming gold and renown off of it.
also have to note that i have seen a bug where one side had more forces then any other. not sure if that was just and odd coincidence. but it kinda was annoying. and makes me think about going back to native warband. kinda sad when the old game is pretty much superior to the new one in every forum or way. and i hope they dont ♥♥♥♥ up banner lord.
But yeah, I completely agree. Tournements suck in VC. There is absolutely nothing more that I hate about them than getting a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ seax and no shield, when my opponents gets sword and shield, spear and shield, club and shield, ect.
that said not going to argue with you. thou i would like to add for banner lord. that they would change it to be more based on real Tournaments. this means that they would be separated by 2 levels. ones for nobles and ones for peasants. the peasants would revolve around the normal group battle. as that was fairly common. thou lords could join as well. meanwhile nobles would focus more on skill then groups of fighters. thus you would have jousting, one on one combat and archery. most of which would be miny games as jousting and archery would be kinda difficult to do with just a normal combat.
Thou means you. So your use of it makes no sense. If English isn't your first language, I'm trying to help. If it IS your first language and you're still making that mistake, it's pretty sad.
also English is my first language. i just dont care. if you find that sad well i dont care. like i said your someone thousands of miles away. your opinion of me dont matter. hell i could unsubscribe from this thread and never look back.
Public schooling has failed you.
