Does importing a character disable steam achievements? (Warband)

Ive noticed cheats do, but does character importation as well?

Nope. As long as cheat mode in rgl_config.txt is 0 or the cheatmode checkbox in launcher or configurator is unchecked, all achievements would work, even on your custom modules. Technically you can program a menu entry into a module to give you all achievements and run that module without cheat mode to get all achievements.

Whether you want to feel good because you get skill in module scripting or because you get skill in playing the game, that's entirely up to you.
