Sigurd or Horik?

After seizing Sven's hideout, my companions started arguing who I should ask for help. Now, I can't decide which is better. Sigurd would be the King of Denmark, at least in history, but currently he sounds more like a bandit than a king-to-be.

Is it simply just choosing who to support and has no effect in overall gameplay?

Honestly, the storyline has only a few points in which you can actually make choices. Everything else is just the illusion of choice. I've picked various dialogue options but they all lead to the same conclusion in most spots. Don't let that discourage you though, it's a great story as far as I've gotten.

im here too i saved and choose horik and didnt like the outcome so im gunna reload and try the other way.....

So this means its practically 2 branchs that will end up in the same path huh?
Well, I'm going for Sigurd then. Son of Ragnar is good enough for me XD
