M&B takes a step BACK when it comes to women.
I was excited about this mod, but it is aesthetically UNPLAYABLE as a female character. The face creation is alright but could definitely be better (Need a chin height slider). The armor is poorly adjusted for a feminine figure. It looks like they took the male armor and gave it chesticles. The neck looks like that of a muscle bound meathead.

My question is, WHY??? The original Mount & Blade, and plenty of other mods, have wonderfully shaped armor for the female adventurer, and their body proportions weren't spectacular, but they were definitely feminine.

So why the step backward, TaleWorlds??

Are you playing VC or warband...? I'd think warband has the same armor as original Mount & Blade. (not going to discuss about VC t the moment as the player's mother somehow looks like a dude for male player)
Kitchen adventurer.

Sorry, I should have been clear I was talking about Viking Conquest.

I love the way they made the guys look, the beards really make people look like fierce vikings, but the women look like the potato people from planet lumpyface.

Jesus Christ how horrifying, no wonder the vikings went about raping everything that moved, I would rather refrain too if all womenfolk over here looked similar to those misformed abominations from hell.

Viking Conquest here, in case anybody had to guess.

Vikings: The men are men, and the women.....are men.

what 90 pound woman in a dress is going to charge into battle against the manliest race of warriors known to man?

Even Brienne the Beauty looks better than these "potato people".

Well considering this time all armor was unisex, do you honestly think blacksmiths are going go out of their way to make custom fit armor for females? Of course not!!!!! Considering they didnt even know who or what was wearing them they just knew hey i got money to make 100 of these so lets do it. Also its leather and mail armor you cant really customise those in terms of shape. Unless you want the unrealistic skimpy clothing you get in almost every RPG now for women. You should be more mad at them then some mod that is set in a time period where 99.9% of all women were literally thought of as objects for breeding and nothing more. Luckily the vikings thought of them as people and let them fight, but they still didnt go out of their way to give them custom armor and weapons. If the women couldnt fit in the armor or use the weapons then they were left at home. Besides these are viking women who like all vikings were taller and more built then other women threw out the world becuase of how they lived. They were far wider due to muscle mass from hard work on the farms and raids. Also that they could go on raids if they werent big and strong enough they were left home because they would be thought of as usless in combat. You cant have a 90lb women trying to take on a 150lb+ male in melee combat she would be completely dead weight and might get the guy next her in the shield wall killed.

Not to mention this mod is more about giving you an idea of what time was like back then letting you play as a person living in England during the greath heathen invasion its an immersion effect. If you dont like it blame your fore farthers for not treating women better. Heck even one of the most prominent women "warriors" Joan of Arc wore armor used by males because there was no such thing as armor for females. That's why they killed her too! She kept breaking the law that stated no women can dress as a male so thats why they burned her.

These are viking women, not dainty little princessess playing dress up, darn it!

Let's stop with the historical posturing. From a pure mechanics standpoint, M&B:W offered fem armors already, why would you not use resources you already have?

If I knew that this is what I was going to get, I wouldn't have bought it. I'm not asking for indecent invulnerability. I'm asking for what M&B:W already had.

I know have seen or heard this quote before, and I demand to know if it is from something!

And if that demand doesn't work, would it help if I asked very nicely with sugar and sprinkles on top?

I like how in other mount and blade Expansions and dlc the woman are attractive and they are depicted as clean faced Bavarian milk maid types, whilst the Viking woman in this DLC look like grizzly bear featured man- beasts .

You must demand whilst sitting atop a throne made from the human skulls of your vanquished enemies! Only then will the truth be revealed!

I have no idea tbh, it's just what came to mind when I read the thread. :D
