Exported characters?
I exported my character, and when i went to the file where all my other characters are, It was not there. I have been searching for quite a while in all my files, documents etc. And it just seems that it was not actually exported and there wasn't a file made. When I click export again, it asks if i want to overwrite it.

I still have no idea where it went, help??

It means the file exists, you just not looking at the right place.
On a Mac, it's in "Library / Application support / MBW", so...

"my files, documents": So Windows, and it should be in "My Documents\Mount&Blade Warband\Characters" but you already know that since you know "where all my other characters" are but is it possible that this isn't for Warband but for something else. MnB, WFAS /etc.

In Windows, you should be able to search for 'most recent files', you can give that a shot too.
If the game offers to overwrite, it means it exists and it's in the right place. The question being: where is that right place?
A search or a Windows wizard might help. All I know is on my Mac, it's diffciult to find some files when Mac decided for some senseless reasons to actually hide those files beyong searching...

Just sort by most recent files with 'view extensions' turned on and with the 'date modified' selected.

I did what you said, and it says the characters folder was modified yesterday, when i made my character, but it is not in there. The most recent character was on the 14th of july. The only time i touched that folder was to look inside for my character. My WFaS hasn't been touched for months.

I have had this game for quite a while, and everytime i exported a character i found it right away, in the same folder, this is my first time playing the game in a couple months, and i exported my character, and it never ended up in the same file all of my other characters did. I have searched in all of my warband files, WFaS NW and so forth, but it just is not there. This has never happened before so i have absolutely no idea where to look.
No idea, unless it's in some hidden folder, like that stupidiest hidden library we have for Mac which doesn't allow any search within itself, even with the right name of the character.
I have to make that folder visible in order to search it.

See, i typed in the characters name into the windows search, and i searched everything, and it didn't even show up.

On this subject, do exported characters take their equipment and inventories with them, or just attributes and skills?

Just their stats and money - no gear or inventory.

The file name for the exported character should be the character name with a txt extension. If you are using a mod it may show up in a mod folder within My Documents.

Just like in real life, at the beginning.
And you're not a bit curious what's coming after? Stick around just a bit more.
Gee, what a good game that is...
It's called an open world game, right? No wonder...
