Viking Conquest Serial Key

I've got my key and what not, but it wont let me add it as a game on steam. I chose to buy it from the website to support the devs a little more (figured steam taxes it a little) and it wont let me use my code.

Any advise would be helpful.. unless I'm just being an idiot. If so just tell me! :)

It wouldn't be in the library, because its a dlc, not game, and also, if its not in the M&B modules, is because you preordered it. Doesn't comeout until December.

Mine is the same, so i assume you can't add it yet, just wait till closer to the release date.
