How to patch mods?
I donwloaded the latest patch (not a full version) of perisno. But where do i put the files? i just pressed on persisno in the modules and then pressed ok. ive heard something about replacing the files. did i do the right thin? please help. idk if it applied.

just make sure the files line up. usually you load it into the modules just like a mod and overwrite when asked. a way to check is to look in the mod and see if there is a folder called "perisno 0.xx" if there is, cut it and paste it to the modules folder

In general, if you can extract the patch file and then compare the files in there with the files that exist in the module, you can check the creation dates. If the dates and the sizes for the files that were supposed to be replaced in the module subdirectory match those contained in the patch, you did it right. :)

Ok, so, to tag onto this question, I downloaded the Clash of Kings mod v 2.1 from modDb, it downloads as a rar/zip file and I extract it into my modules folder, the mod works, now I downloaded the patch, also a zip file, I'm confused as to whether I should extract the patch files into the mod folder, or just copy and paste all the the things in the patch file to replace the ones in the mod folder

Just click on the ACOK file and put it there. You dont need to go inside of the file just put it into the ACOK file. Enjoy the mod! it's fricken amazing :D
