I don't know if I'd put NW first unless that was in a regiment, for example the www.2-fa.net would make my expirience much better

You're recruitment attempts are pathetic.

I honestly will have to go with

1, Fire And Sword
2, Napoleonic Wars
3, Viking Conquest
4, Mount and Blade Warband

Viking Conquest will no doubt be number 1 if they can just fix some bugs and the crash incidents
1. Mount and Blade Warband
2. Napoleonic Wars
3. Viking Conquest

I never played with Fire And Sword, so not ranked.

mount and blade.
it's really fun much less of everything then in warband yet less almost seems like more.
if you like a more passive game give the first one a try.

1. Mount & Blade: Warband (with Custom Character Creation mod).
2. Mount & Blade: Warband (vanilla).
3. Viking Conquest (Caveat: if the player is experienced enough to know not to accept quests that require getting on a ship and moving to a different land mass in order to complete the quest).
4. Fire & Sword (If you're bored enough with the aforementioned top 3).

The others unmentioned don't deserve a mention.

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I did not like viking conquest. It gives you too many character points and spawns enemies which are way too strong. It seems janky and unbalanced, like an amateur tried to make their first Mount & Blade style game.

I think warband and fire & sword are both good.

1. Warband
2. Fire & Sword
3, literally anything else
4. Viking Conquest

I agree it appeared a bit amateurish. I didn't like the fact that all core game design and gameplay features remained locked in, even though this was built as a multiple landmass setting where ships would be required. The entire Quest system should have been overhauled so that you normally only performed Quests on your own landmass. Inexperienced players could sign up for a Quest and discover that it costs 3 times as much for paying passage to the other landmass than the reward given, which makes no sense (one of the few games in history that rewards less for a Quest than it costs to perform it). I also think all the cattle-moving quests should have been removed from Viking Conquest, or limited to only those not considered "Viking" types (with England having it). And while this would have required some extreme overhauls - that's exactly what VC should have been instead of a layered game that totally relied on the same underlying equipment and Quest system. When I played VC, I never took on quests at all, it was just too unwieldy to constantly decline the quest then check the map to see if the quest's distance/location is reasonable then go back in and accept for something useful. However, I denied all cattle-moving quests, never take them unless it's to the next town over.
