Ever try it? Going to try it
Matheld, Nizar, Artimenner, Lezalit, Borcha, Marnid.

I mean I feel like this will work if I gear everyone well enough

Ive thought about it. If it was me, I would get everyone. I think it should just about balace out in terms of likes/dislikes. It also depends on what you want to in the game. Id imagine founding a kingdom wouldnt work out so well.

I've done it in Native, with Alayan, Ymira, Baheshtur, Deshavi, Bunduk, Jeremus, Klethi, and Firentis.

I am doing it in Gekokujo, right now, with additional home rules, that make it much harder, and documenting each step... in this thread[forums.taleworlds.com], on the Taleworlds forums.

In Native, founding the kingdom worked, actually, but I had done an awful lot of preparation beforehand. I had twenty cunning/martial lords at relationship 100 before I declared, in addition to dozens of benevolent/good-natured ones, which are much easier to befriend, while of course being as useful as tits on a boar.

Yeah I feel like it could be possible if you give them excellent armor, weapons, and horses.

I think the start is a tad irritating. Tryin to make money to get all those people, and make sure they're also all geared well

Yeah and companions get wounded instantly unless they have good equipment and stats/skills it seems.

If you will be doing a companion only run, you NEED a combat beast player character. Given that the best such build is the horse archer, you may as well assume that you will be soloing enemies until your companions are fully equipped and able to take care of themselves.

Until they get to their teen levels, their main function is to drag you out of the fight when you get knocked out, and use their First Aid skill to put you on your feet.

So your first command should be "Everyone go to the corner of the map", and you should not move them unless some enemies get close.
