If you don't know how by commands It's quite alright everyones new at one point I don't know that much myself. But hence why askubuntu was made
sudo apt-get install libqt4-gui:i386 libaudio2:i386
I run the config tool from Steam after installed the libs but the problem was always same.
This is the shell print (I run steam in shell):
sudo apt-get install libqt4-gui:i386
It was labelled in my google drive as 'Fix For Linux Mount and Blade: Warband Configuration unease' and it's the only thing I've found so far.
//Sometimes if you alt-tab out of the game the graphics on the world map when you go back in. So, if you watch videos in the background you might be better off just using the in-game steam layover browser. (not related, but a tip nontheless)

using kde neon, so it should be the same repositories as unbunu.
Using Ubuntu MATE.
it helped me to solve it partitially however I'm still unable to start configuring tool via steam, but I can do it manually then I select module save config and launch game via steam, and it launches selected module, that's enough for me.
