NPC's
Is there or is there something in the works in the way of a mod that will allow you to add/modify the games NPC's? The normal ones are a bit boring, adding a few custom NPC's or even changing the way the normal ones look would be a small but nice addition. :Horzine:

well most major mods rework the companions, so, i guess you could try one of the major ones

AD 1257
prophecy of pendor
bryttenwalda
gekokujo

as for a mod that just tweaks companions, i don t know, but someone s got to have made that already

go on nexus and see if you find it there, as i guess it would be a tiny mod, you won t even have to create an account

You can easily change how your companions look by launching the game under edit mode (done through the game launcher's configure option), then talking to a companion, ask about their skills and then click on their character portrait in the skill sheet. It'll open up the character editor, so feel free to change Jeremus into a balder heretic if you're into that.

You can do the same way with Lords through mods that allow you to view their skills like with Floris.

Otherwise, the only way to change how a NPC/Lord looks is through editing troop.txt or with Morgh's editor.

The easiest way is with Morgh's editor and you can do that by going into the character editor with your main character, do changes that you want a certain Lord/NPC to look like, then press Ctrl+E to generate a facecode (You'll see a string of numbers pop up).

After that, go into troop editor in morghs, select the Lord/NPC you want to change and paste the code you generated under the faces entry. Don't forget to press Update Troop then save your changes.

Thanks, I'll take a look at both suggestions.
