Create Castles and Villages

So, that is the question. Can I create castles or villages with any name? I read that I can create them modifying some archives but I want to know if I can do it with another way. If I can´t I´ll investigate xD

No, you can't.

There was a mod called "Custom Settlements" for the original M&B, that got partially ported to Warband, I believe, where you could do that.

Was interesting, but I have no idea of the current state and even if it is still worked on at all.
I do know parts of it were used in the "Rigale" mod, but that one is also unfinished, and the custom settlement part only partially implemented.

It would be interesting, if you have your own kingdom you could build castles and villages.

Check out "Rigale", then. It's basically sort of an RPG mod with crafting guilds and such, and you can create villages (but like I said, it's all pretty basic), and you can build outposts and upgrade them to small castles for garrisoning troops there and such.

It's a pretty wild mod, and fiendishly difficult, but it's a lot of fun.

In Nova Aetas you can build a castle and found colonies in the new world if thats what your after.
