In general, doing honorable things is a really easy way to increase your relations with honorable lords. It's much easier to run a kingdom with 10 'honorable' (benevolent or good-nature) lords than with 10 'normal' (martial or cunning) ones. Running a kingdom with 10 'dishonorable' (debauched or quarrelsome) lords is a pain in the neck, because they hate everyone.
