Floris question (freelancing)

So i picked up floris mod pack, anyway, i collected all my companions, then later saw the option to enlist as a soldier in another lords army temporarily and did so, now my party screen lists only me, when i later leave the service will they all reappear, or did i just lose them all?

Edit: also small side question: why are some people in same faction Jarl, others are Hersir, another is Jarl-faveo, and a jarl-consensio, the hyphenated ones sound more italian, and im not certain why different lords from same faction who both started in same faction have different titles.

Further minor edit: This king sure has done nothing but assault town after town since i joined his army, nords now own half the map and im like 2 weeks in.

Regarding lord titles, the first part refers to the largest fief they own while the suffix refers to their relationship with their ruler. I'm pretty sure that Jarl means that their largest fief is a castle, while faveo and consensio means their ruler likes them. There should be full details somewhere under the notes option.

Unfortunately I've never enlisted, so I can't answer your main question.

Your companions will tag along with you while you are enlisted.
You can give them excess gear if you take a furlough from the army; then, when you rejoin your unit, they will tag along in the background again.

The troop units other than your companions may also stick around for a short time but they will take off and find other work soon. If you go on leave you will have a couple of weeks to take care of personal business like shopping and you will see all your companions plus whatever troops remain. Eventually all of your troops may leave and you will need to hire new ones but your companions will stay.
