Is there any way to get divorced as a female character?

My guess is no but you should check the Wiki if you don't get a better answer.

None of my female characters have ever been married - the lords in this game are losers...lol

Well I think its kind of implied if their a mother that they were supposed to be married to their corresponding lord.

Though the absense of Queens and for the female Prince Consort is concerning.

Well it seems like its really impossible to get a divorce. Thanks for answers.
well you have to think of it historicaly, mount and blade at the very start tells you its going to be realistic with its attitudes with women (for the most part) so divirce wouldnt really be an option.

Also you can put a queen on the throne so they arent absent, theres even an achievemnt for it

In most pre-Christian societies, divorce was as easy as publicly stating that you don't want to be married to that person anymore. A Norse woman could get a divorce anytime she liked and her dowry and even the bride price would be returned to her (if her husband was an ass).

It was the Christians who introduced this notion of women being trapped into a marriage forever because they were married in the presence of the Lord, for life. Perhaps there are exceptions of course, but for many cultures, this wasn't a big deal. The Celts would get married for a year and a day, if they wanted to renew their vows, they did another hand-fasting ceremony and jumped the Beltane fires, if not, they just went their separate ways.

This comment is curious. The vanilla game has no offspring and a female character will never be a mother. There are a few options for Queens in this game and I often help put them on thrones. A female character could easily declare herself High Queen as well. There are probably more options for Queens in this game than pretty much any historical period in our world.

I think playing a female character and being able to marry a lord gives a better benefit than the other way around. The main benefit is that you can garrison troops in the lord's castle without cost to you, and you can even take out troops that he put in.

So as a female character, it's worth it to me to build up the relationship and try to marry a lord for that reason.

Also you can get into a faction and then get your own fiefs.

You can do this without ever getting married. It just takes a female character a little bit longer to gain recognition than a male. Kick the snot out of enough enemy lords and even the most ignorant and small minded King will eventually come around.

The only downside I'm aware of is that a single, female character cannot host feasts.

I read something about the cheat menu and camps. When you open console and type "cheatmenu" then camp there is supposed to be a Cheatmenu option coming out. There you can select "Divorce player spouse" but it didnt work for me. I think it only works if you are in your own faction.
Only way to get a Divorce that i can think of is to go to war agienst whatever faction they belong to.
