Viking Conquest Friendly Lords Won't Help Siege

I go and advise 5 other friendly lords to come to Dublin to help siege as it only has 300 defenders. We all get there, I build the siege equipment, order the vanguard to advance, then I lead the attack to my suprise NO ONE actually joins although they are all sitting around at Dublin with me prior to the attack. I didn't want them to siege as I wanted to take Dublin for myself in the end, but even when I let them siege they just sit there for weeks and eventually they all leave except for the one party sieging and he still hasn't started to siege the place.

Are you and the lords in the same faction? If not, I don't think they'll help you against a faction that aren't at war with they.

while u sieging..the other lords can run around meeting other enemies,get stuck in battles and be occupied,and BAM u alone

No, this thing happens regularly, at least for me.

Whenever i siege something, im always alone. also, sometimes, enemies are alone like the thing aint working for them either.

Don't ask them to siege ifyou want to lead the siege. Instead ask them to follow you. Remind them to keep following periodically so they will be less likely to get distracted.

nah wont work at least for me. even though ive just said "follow me" while im sieging myself, they wont join into the fight :D

If they are at war against the other faction too, and are near to you, I don't see why they won't help you in the fight, I never saw anything like this happen, have you tried looking for help in Taleworlds forum?

This is a stupid bug that has been in the game since before Warband. I can't believe no one has fixed it yet.

Basically: If you're not marshal then no one will follow you into siege. (Even if they are following you)... Oh and I just checked. They won't even follow you into a field battle.

I have someone with 100 relation "following" me right now but, no matter what I do, I can't get him to follow me into the siege/ battle.

HOW has this not been fixed or explained for the years and years that this game has been out and the hundreds of times this problem has been mentioned.
