Sound is weird
Ever since I updated to Windows 10, I've found that the sounds and music, even on the main menu, is very crackly, like an electrical static type baclground to all of the music etc. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, or better yet has any sugestions :D: :hromesurrender:

Take a look at this: http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php?topic=112612.0

If that doesn't help you, then make sure your drivers are up to date and that you have all the necessary codecs installed.

Thanks for the link Morkonan, I'll try everything out and see if it helps. This is possibly the worst game that a bug like this could happen to: I need my M&B!

Mate, if I find something out I will post here, but I can't promise anything aha. To be fair, I'm just sort of relieved it isn't jsut me.

I suggest you roll back to your previous version of Windows for now.

Same here! I searched the forums and this seemed to work: I went into PC/Documents/Mount&Blade With Fire and Sword and opening the text file labeled "rgl_config.txt" at or pretty near the bottom was a line called "use_winmm_audio = 1" I just set that "1" to "0" and now it works fine! NOTE: Do not attempt this while the game is still running or it will be reset when you close the game and then consequently attempt to restart it!

Thanks man, I'll give that a go later and let you know if it works. I appreciate the suggestion: Warband is up there as one of my favourite games ever haha. I need to play it! >.<

Bizarrely, I just tried this with Fire and Sword, because I fancied going on that for a little bit (don't judge me!) and it didn't work. I shall do some research aha, try and make sure that if anyone has problems like this it can be solved.
