Is the factory "on?" IIRC, you can tell factories to halt production, so make sure you haven't done that by talking to the factory-manager guy.

no, it is using the dye, jsut not the silk.....

Weird. I'm not sure, since I don't normally try to supply my businesses. Is the silk you're trying to give them "overpriced?" IOW - Do they have access to local silk that is much cheaper? They shouldn't be able to refuse it, in any case, but maybe...

How about current inventory of finished goods? Check and see how much velvet (finished product) is available at the local level. Maybe they won't accept it because they have no call, yet, to produce and they already have the silk they need for the next run, preventing them from stockpiling it or something?

Sorry for the random answers, I just don't usually supply my businesses, so haven't seen this issue, if, indeed, it is a true problem and not some idiosyncratic issue with your current game.

Running any mods?

Weird, perhaps it is indeed the price. Kind of strange that it wouldn't still accept it even if it's higher priced than local stuff, but still.

it buys silk and dye for you u dont need to have it in your invintory
StarNate Jul 27, 2015 @ 4:21pm
but you can still put it there for better profits, putting stolen goods from war in you make a killing

only issue here is, that my dyeworks are not wanting them

It is weird. They should accept it, even if you paid far too much for it. In fact, you can store any item in those inventory slots! That's how players make off with all the armor/weapon upgrades they can earn in the Freelancer submod.
