Warsword Conquest
I was wondering if it was possible in this game to create the "super unit"(trolls, ogres, rat ogres, heralds of khorne, ect...) or to recruit them the same way i recruit peasants,

You "can" recruit certain very powerful units, but only if your rep with the village is high enough and the village is in good shape. IIRC, there is a slot for troll recruitment from Orks, but I don't know if it works.

You can, however, capture such units and recruit them in the Camp menu. (Recruit Prisoners) I run an older version of W:C and have a nice unit of Trolls, which are expensive, but really wreck havoc on enemy units. :)

I'm not sure about Ogres. Heralds of Khorne do exist and you can train units up to them, but I don't know if you can recruit them directly from villages, no matter your rep and the village's development. (One very smart thing to do is to Freelance with the Chaos guys and get up to the point where you can get great Khorne knight/whatever armor. Then, use the "sort of cheat" to stash your armor away, preferably in the inventory of a Productive Enterprise that you own, and retire from Freelancing. You'll keep that awesome armor! Otherwise, you'd lose all the armor/weapon items when normally leaving military employ under the Freelancer system.)

In any case, most if not all the units you mentioned do exist and it is possible to either recruit them, train units up to their level or to recruit them from your Prisoner pool in the Camp menu.

Note: Trolls make poor siege attackers unless they get brought in late in the siege, after the battlements have been taken. Before then, they get surrounded and beaten down too easily by the massed troops on the battlements.

Enjoy! Post a pic of your "Troll Army" when you get it together. :)
