Viking Conquest: About Port Raiding and Coastal Assaults o:

Hello, I was wondering if any of you would maybe have an answer for me. At the moment I am sailing 3 major ships, which gives me quite some space for a raiding army. So, I raided a port with a Coastal Assault, and I razed it. $-$
The problem comes next. Like, 4 weeks have passed, and the port has apparently recovered. I can sege it again, etc. HOWEVER, the option to make a Coastal Assault just isn't there. Whenever I approach the port from the sea it says I am not welcomed there and my only option is to leave.

Is this normal? Can we only do 1 coastal assault per city? O:

Hi Apple of Eden! You need a negative relation with the faction that owns the port town. If you are able to siege the port town from land, then you should also be able to attack it from sea side. If you cant siege then you also can't perform a coastal assault.

To get a negative relation you can simply attack a nearby fisher of this faction.

See that's just the thing, I do have a negative relation with them. I make my fortune raiding their caravans and their villages o.o It even says I'm no welcome in the port, but the option to do a Coastal Assault simply isn't there.

Ok,
- you see the message "You can't enter the port because you are not welcome in this town."
- but you do not see the "Attack." options.
- its not Bebbanburh
- you have a negative relation with the faction
- I assume you have more than 5 men fit for battle

Then the only cause could be that the town is currently besieged? Is this maybe the case?
Also if you do not play in ironman mode: Can you try to besiege the town from land side? Does this work?

I can besiege the town from land.
I have 200 men fit for battle.
Its not Bebbanburh.
The faction has a -99 relation with me by now
And yes, I see the "You can't enter the port because you are not welcome in this town." but I don't have the option to attack, only to leave.
And I'm not playing on Ironman either o.o
