What's the point of sneaking into castles/towns?
Is there things I can do? When I sneak into a castle it lets me either walk around in it, or leave, is there even anything to do after you sneak in?

When you have a bad rep with a count/king then you can sneak into the castle/town then buy stuff, save prisoners whom might help you, ect.

I see how that could be useful, I was sneaking into castles during a war, which is pointless I guess.

Several things:

1) You can break friendly lords out of the castle prison, gaining you relation points with that lord plus reward money if you are doing it as a quest for one of his relatives.
2) If there is a lady in the castle who you are trying to court behind her father's back, you can sneak in and see her.
3) Sometimes the king gives you a quest to "meet the spy" in an enemy town, and you have to sneak in during the day and talk to all of the peasants in order to find the spy.

You can go to the castle and talk to the king. He'll want some money for your crimes against his people. If you pay him you'll have neutral relations with him again.

The most reason I sneak in is when I want to take part in a tournament in an enemy city.
