--VOTE-- Civ V or Mount and Blade Warband
If everyone bought both games what percentage of people would continue to play Civ V or M&B Warband????

I dunno man Civilization you got the whole technology thing and evolve through time but with mount and blade you actually fight alongside your troops.
Also it seems to me that civ has more politics and mount and blade has more blood.

M&B:W > Civ IV > Civ V

I've played every Civ since the beginning, at this point there's nothing new that series can offer, they have told their tale, it was a good one, but just as I don't tend to watch re-runs and if I do, I stop doing it after say the 3rd time. ;) At Civ 5, can we not say we've seen this story in its entirety and put it to bed?!

Firxax, like many dev houses, needs to make some new IP.

Same story for TaleWorlds, if you're going to run M&B by us once again, you better put a lot of new capabilities and content in the game, not just pretty up the graphics.

My vote here: Warband. Because you can play it the way you see fit. Civ, while pretending to offer you choices, in reality has optimal build decisions all along the way, play enough and you'll see them and know them for what they are.

Buy both. Two of the best games on steam.

agreed some best games on steam. it was just a conversation me and a friends had. so i thought id bring the debate here. only played Civ V.
its deff is a tough question. i stood more towards M&B while he was to Civ, he almost looks down at M&B.

It's best though typically not to judge other people's taste in the games they like, it's really ultimately a subjective thing what anyone finds entertaining.

i agree but in another say 2yrs will civ have a bigger crowd playing it or M&B... as i think more people will be playing civ b/c of the popularity of the game but m&B will continue to have a higher percentage of there patrons still playing
