But seriously, why even try. They'd be OP and he said that they're lost.
I'm not worried abut stuff being OP. I just love a mystery and I like finding rare and fabled treasures. If something would be so insane that it would ruin my experience, I can always chose not to use it. But in a game that focuses on large scale battles, what difference does one weapon really make.
That being said, why even mention those treasures if there is nothing to it?
And mentioning those treasures - why not? Such immersive, much wow.
Well, the game isn't rich on lore to begin with, so this stuff stands out. Usually when you come across any non-standard text, it does mean something. So this is why I'm wondering. It seems out of place for the game to just throw it in there and make nothing of it.
Well, there is "some" lore if you are willing to dig for it, but the game certainly doesn't try hard to bring the myths, legends, and history of that time to life.
Still, the question remains: Does VC actually feature some of the Treasures of Britannia, or is it just a random snippet of text?
