Starting can be a little rough because there are some extra bandit spawns roaming around. One is all mounted, so they are quite fast & pretty tough.
There are two extra companions (brothers) that don't dislike anyone (as far as I can tell).
Villages will only recruit if either you are a vassal of their kingdom, the lord ruling it likes you, or the village likes you enough. The easiest way to get them to let you recruit if not a vassal is to get the lord to like you, either through gaining honor or dueling.
You can duel lords. The martial (and some of the nice-guy) lords will respect (like) you when you win. The jerky ones like it when you lose and get mad when you win. This is an easy way to crank up relation with lords.
There are salt mines near Durham where you can buy cheap salt for resale. More important you can put prisoners there and each one works the salt mines for 10 Dinars/week. Amazingly, you can also stash troops there and they don't need to be paid while there.
There are ships. Fast travel along coasts and a great way to stash troops & prisoners.
There are animals wandering around that can be hunted for meat and leather or fur. Doesn't increase weapon skills or exp, so its just a way to get food or stuff to sell.
Every castle and village that you own will change to your troop unit of faction where you are in. So if whole nord is conquered by swardian there you couldn't hire any nord anymore.
there are troop recruite where you can buy directly your level one troops. In a video it was possible to even higher tier troops from him but i didn't find it yet. It is indeed costly to do that but it can.
The native tournement higest betting is most 500 denar instead normal 100 denar. they have make the gladiators diffrent outfit and they are more difficult to fight even nobles are harder.
each town has diffrent arena's and in native tournements diffrent preferd weapens. so in sargoth its only axes and dirham only polearms.
There is even a arena / little village / town where you can buy horses elpehants and weapens shop with inn where you can find the gladiators and you can kinda bet on other gladiators i didn't go fully in that kinda thing. there is even a ceasar where you go on talk to xd
there even camels if i remember correctly
each faction has one special unites
nord had special berserker unite so one there is each faction diffrent
costum faction have castle guardes and later on special horse unite like swadian knightes
