VC: My Wife Keeps on Cheating on Me
This is the second time she has done it, and I had just gotten our relationship back up to 45 when she did it again. Now its back down to 5. I don't see why this happens so much, I have been re-courting the crap out of her to get the relationship back up.

So, is there any way to stop this, or to punish her/the man? I hate to see either of them get away with it, or like last time, my wife got rewarded with lots of jewlery.

That's not true. Having a wife is very important if you want to be a king. Getting married gives a big right to rule boost, plus you need a wife to organize feasts. She can also serve as minister, thus saving you from having to assign a companion to that role. Plus many players (myself included) simply like the idea of courting a noble lady and marrying her. Courting and marriage was one of my favorite things to do in vanilla Warband.

This silly, unfinished adultery "feature" in VC serves no purpose except to be an annoyance and a distraction from the rest of the game. When a dev admits that the whole thing is half-baked and will probably never be finished, it's time to take it out of the game completely. At the very least, I will be modding it out of my game, and I have no qualms whatsoever about doing so.

Not true at all. I have a huge right of rule and high renown and still not married. That's a cheap shortcut, but that's all it is. I don't bother with feasts there are other ways to improve relations with the lords.

Looks like you are taking it too personally. Feature maybe unfinished but only slightly, the quest is not necessary. It reduces your relations with the lord, and you can attack him anyways. You also can get friendly with married ladies and get lovers of your own.

You can of course mod it out, but then you would have to mod out all adultery affecting other lords.

What difference does it make whether adultery affects other lords? I don't care about their marital relations and I'm sure it has no effect on how well they fight in the field. I also have no interest in taking any of the married ladies as lovers.

Anyway, I'm not arguing this for my own sake; I already know how to tweak my own game to eliminate the chance of adultery. I'm just speaking up for the other players who are also annoyed with it.
