2. Might be better to put that in a guide.
Also, I don't think Berserkrs are that good as skirmishers. Too few projectiles, too much battle rage.
Edit - From the World Map, click the "Camp" button, then select "Troop Tree". While on that page, you can use the drop-down menu to change it to any faction in the game and see what their units have in terms of skills and equipment loadouts.
Crossbows: Pictish Elite Skirmisher
Sword and board: Norse huscarls
Spearmen: Saxon nobles
Heavish cavalry: Picts or Irish (both have advantages)
