Finn Archer: PD 4, Archery 135

Camp Defender: PD 4, Archery 125

Briton Elite Skirmisher: PD 3, Archery 120

Saxon Bowman: PD 4, Archery 85

Angle Bowman: PD 4, Archery 85

Crossbowmen:

Pictish Elite Skirmisher: Crossbow 200 (have good melee capabilities)

Skirmishers:

Berserkr: PT 5, Throwing 300

Irish Elite Skirmisher: PT 5, Throwing 220

Irish Veteran Skirmishers: PT 4, Throwing 190, Slings 190
(Not a high tier unit, but is on the list for being the best with slings)

Outlaws in general have good sling and throwing capabilities, but not as good as Irish skirmishers or Berserkers.

1. Doesn't seem to be a very complete list.
2. Might be better to put that in a guide.

Also, I don't think Berserkrs are that good as skirmishers. Too few projectiles, too much battle rage.

True, they're not. but they can break shields with one throwing spear, making them even more offensive

I wonder if you are aware that you can look up the entire Troop Tree for every type of unit in the game, just by navigating through some of the menus? I think it might be under Camp, then Troop Types, or something like that?

Edit - From the World Map, click the "Camp" button, then select "Troop Tree". While on that page, you can use the drop-down menu to change it to any faction in the game and see what their units have in terms of skills and equipment loadouts.

The problem with this list is that heavy armor significantly weakens power draw... which means that if you are looking for dedicated archers, the Finn Archers are best option, since they allow for maximum damage and accuracy.
