Painting Shields?

Hey guys,

So I'm wondering if your are able to paint shields that you loot/buy so that they match the colours of your flag or faction or whatever. So pretty much just like the shield that you start off with if you start off with a shield.

in vanilla i don't think you can, but you can in some mods.

In vanilla, once you get a banner, most armors/shields will bear your colors anyway. Some shields, like the Steel one, do not change colors though. Most kite shields and bucklers will though.

There are specific types of shields and tabards/armor sold by merchants that will reflect the player's banner design. You can tell which ones they are by equipping them in the shop display and the pattern they show will change appropriately.

If an armour has a green/black checkered kinda pattern, it usually means it's heraldic (shows your coat of arms)
