Missing Textures on Warband Mac version? (Modules and Native)
Anyone else suffering from the dreaded missing textures? Some textures that are in Native aren't in the modules...and more and more disappear the longer I play. It's happened in Native after an hour or so as well, but fixed itself.

The missing texture is basically the model, but purely black. This includes the item in the inventory, player and NPC models, and items within the actual game. If anyone has any fixes, please help!

P.S. When I configure the game, which is the only way to change modules for me, as launching the game just launches the currently selected module without the usual menu, there is no DirectX option or any option to "load textures on demand", which is something I remember from the ported version I used to play. Anyone else?

Yes, I for example have seen this in the map using the Floris mod. Half of the map is black (not fog of war mind you). I hope this is a bug they can fix and isn't up to modders to fix it...

I'm going to assume that it's just a passing bug/glitch that's caused by the new OS it's running on. Hopefully it'll be fixed by the next stable update!

I'm also having a lot of missing Textures in Floris unfortunately :(
I'd love to play the Mod properly!

Same for me, missing the majority of the map and some character textures

So the missing textures fix themselves in Native and Native Expansion (confirmed). Other mods just keep losing more and more textures it seems.
Same for me

Found another problem, not sure if it's a bad install or what...I can't even launch Floris. The window changes, the game starts to launch, and instantly crashes. No errors either. Any solutions?

EDIT: You know what? I'm an idiot. Thought I'd just downloaded expanded, but I put the folder with all of them in the folder...hehe oops...Should be working now!

Helped fix the dark spots on the map for me. Took a long time to rename the files and such but it was worth it. You can also do the "_bump" files as well I've heard to make it even better but I haven't tried it myself.

Has anyone had any luck with the sky though? It's still completely black for me and it does get kind of annoying.

The sky has a huge red phantom mirrorring my actions at times...is this normal?

This is a major issue for me, every mod I install turns into a flop because random textures (armor, weapons, item thumbnails, world map etc.) just turn black! it's all black! BLACK BLACK BLACK!

Happens to me too on linux. It's probably due to the OS handling uppercase and lowercase letters as two different things. For example if the game expects a file named Texture.dds but the file exists only as texture.dds, then it doesnt find it and considers it missing. This is obviously not an issue on windows.

edit: if im right then this could be fixed only by the game/mod developer by using exactly the same names for files in code and on disk.

I have this issue on linux. Some of the armor and weapons that come with the native expansion mod are just black. So far I've just played through it but it would be nice if there was a fix for this.
