somtimes you lose money from enterprises

your Enterprises aka *dyeworks* needs raw materials from jelkalla if they do not have them it starts costing you money to run it instead of gaining profits

Or change the business type. You did look over the options the guildmaster gave right? Plus the profitability will change depending on trade (that's why your bringing in raw materials helps).

When you go to buy a business, carefully read what the guild master says about profits.

items have different costs around the game, so some enterprises will make you loose money. When you bougth the dyeworks the guild master should have told you your profits, altough prices change. So either buy another enterprise or then you will have to get them raw supplies yourself.

When i bought the dyework it had a profit of some hundreds as the guild master siad to me

The profitablility of an eneterprise varies by type and location. Even dyeworks can lose money. Some of the Rhodok areas already produce velvet so the sell price can be low and cost of materials can be high. Over time things can change as well. If a business becomes unprofiable you can close it and get some of your investment back. Then reinvest in a different business that is more profitable.
