king harlarus (commoners) complete dialogue
so... im nords and i defeated swadia. and then i see king harlarus patroling around suno, and i scroll over him and it says, king harlarus (commoners) i talk to him and he says "Yes, sire?" as if hes my vassal. then when i click to next saying he says "What is your bidding?" and the options are as if he is a neutral lord. these are the options:

"There is something i would like to discuss with you in private."
"I wish to ask you something."
"I'm here to deliver my demands!"
and "I must beg my leave.".

if i do the first option, he dosent say anything but it goes to selection between:

"What do you think, in general terms, about kings, lords and politics?"
and "Never mind.".

first option makes him say "[liege] Did you wish to speak of anything else?".
second brings back to main screen and he says "Anything else?".

"I wish to ask you something." brings you to question screen.

"I want to know the location of someone."
brings you to a place where he says "Very well, i may or may not have a answer for you."
and the two options are:

"Error - knight 11 wife should not appear in game"
and "Never mind.".

first one he says "I don't know where Error - knight 11 wife should not appear in game is."

second one brings you back to main screen.

"What are you and your men doing here?"
makes him say "We are scouting for the enemy around Suno. I will guard the areas near my home... I am acting independantly because our realm is currently not on campaign."

which then takes you back to main screen again.

"What is the realm doing?" makes him say "There is no campaign currently in progress.".

"How goes the war?" makes him say "We are currently not at war with anyone."
then you say "That's all i wanted to know. Thank you."

then last option in there is "Nevermind.", which again, brings back to main screen.

"I'm here to deliver my demands!" makes him say "Eh? What do you want?"
then the options are:

"I offer you one chance to surrender or die"
and "Forgive me. It's nothing."

first option makes him say "What? Why do you attack us? Speak, you rascal!"
options are:

"Forgive me sir. I dont know what i was thinking."
and "That is none of your business. Prepare to fight!"

first one makes him say "Begone then." and then your relation deteriorates by 1, and you go to world map.
second one "As you wish. Prepare to die!" relation with commoners from 0 to -3 and him from 7 to -23 then battle screen against swadians occurs and the battle can then happen.

then battle went like normal except for at end it said "king harlarus of commoners escaped".

"I beg my leave." (or something like that) "Yes, yes. Farewell.".

and that concludes the conversation... i know the format is pretty bad and maybe grammar too, but this is my first forum post ever.

im not quite sure the reasons im posting this. but here it is.

king harlarus is like the best leader in the game. Declare war on the neighbour on day 1 and make you gather forces. On day 2 host a party and orders you to come and you already crossed the border lulz.

Harlaus is probably a good king but a horrible tactician, who decides to hold a party in the middle of his entire army sieging an enemy town?

King Harlaus the Fat refused to give my 2000 renown 400 honour female commoner a title of nobility. Spent 5 months in game leading a mecenary unit for Swardia and no matter what I did, it was never enough to become a vassal. Nope, capture a castle for Swardia, Harlaus gives it to himself and then has a feast there. Repeat THREE TIMES.

My elite band of mercenaries were pretty much the A-Team, going from town to town jailbreaking lords, defeating bandits who took over villages, endlessly killing off bandit and deserters on the worldmap. Nothing was good enough for Harlaus the Fat.

You must have a large amount of renown to become a vassal. Try winning some tournaments or go into some battles where the enemy's numbers are a little bigger. Continue until renown level is high enough.
