You can only be a mercenary with certain mods. (Gekokoju, Anno Domini 1257, Brytenwalda, Floris etc..)

But anyways you talk to some lord and it should be somewhere there.

In native you can be a Merc. I think you just have to get your reputations up to friendly with some of the lords in a faction, then ask them if they have any jobs for you when the faction is at war. They will say something like "My king asked me to find help with our war would you like to join us as a mercenary?"

i think you have to talk to the marshall to be a merc. talking to the king he'll ask if you want to be a vassal

Start raiding villages and attacking farmers/caravans on your own accord. Any faction will do. Sell the stuff afterwards.

In many mods, you can become friendly with bandits by fighting on their side in battle. Do it enough times, and they will stop attacking you.

I am not sure about Native, but you definitely can do that in Floris and Gekokujo. Other mods, like Viking Conquest, allow you to actually talk to the bandits and have them join you, if you are infamous enough.

It does not. I've played the Diplomacy mod quite a lot but it doesn't let you become friendly with bandits.

Seriously, play Viking Conquest. It's pretty much designed to let you live the life of a feared raider and fall in with outlaws.
