rest in a town , castle or go in camp and wait some time , like wait 1 or 2 days if your char is wounded , less than 10 life

After each battle, you will recover some of the lost health via the First Aid party skill.

Then you recover health over time, with the healing rate influenced by the quality of your quarters and the Wounds Treatment party skill. It is better to stay in an inn rather than camp in the field, and it is better to camp in the field rather than travel.

The physicians in Viking Conquest cities can bring you up to 40% health, if you are below that, and other mods have similar mechanism. Not Native, though.

In VC if you don't get to a city physician and get healed you will lose a stat and be scarred forever...
