Bannerpage troop tree submod?
Title says it all. Does it mod has a better troop tree submod for it?? Vanilla troop tree is just insufferable after playing Warband with other mods. I'm even considering quitting it for another mod just because of that...

Bannerparge have way more problems than just the troop tree, sadly. But I am not aware of any sub mod for it, sorry. I am also trying to find a good mod to run. I have finished plenty. Did you finish already: Gekokujo, Prophecy of Pendor, etc?

Yeah, I'm coming back to Warband after ages e searching for a new mod to play. I used to play Floris and PoP alot. I thought Bannerpage was the ultimate quality of life option but the mod does seens limited in many regards, it's like a good skeleton but without the flesh. I'm trying to think wich one is the "killer mod" right now but there are so many options and it's pretty hard to choose one.

I'm considering going back to PoP because it have a lot of high level and mid/late game stuff to do. Bannerpage, like vanilla, you have an exciting early to mid game but later on it starts to become kinda empty.

Bannerpage Is extremely easy. Easier than vanilla. It has too many ''easy'' options. Once you also create your kingdom, your own troops are completely overpowered, even if you dont select the best armor and weapons for it. Its really not a cool mod if you want to have any kind of difficulty. But it makes sense the way it is, because I think he made it for his kids. So he did put plenty of easy mechanics . Some bugs threw me out as well, but I finished the mod, so I wouldnt come back to it anymore.

But what I liked the most was the ability to promote a common soldier to be your own companion/bodyguard.

Another Vanilla option but with more mechanics and not so easy, is Diplomacy 4 Litdum. The AI in Battle is better made. Enemy cavalry actually go around their way to flank your archers, things like that. The AI is really well made. But vanilla troops, which is something you probably wont like.

Prophecy of Pendor is indeed a good mod to come back if you dont want a vanilla experience. There is also that Lord of the Rings mod, which have plenty of different troops, quests, etc. But I couldnt play it since I am not into Lord of the Rings lore, but in case you are, I am sure you will love it.

In PoP there are some interesting challenges, like going two handed on foot your entire playtrough, making things quite harder and in the end, more interesting as well.
