How to stop raiding a village?

Well, I just became a lord in Rhodoks, and decided to raid a Sarranid village as I had never done it before. I took my 40 men and picked a village. Before realising that I couldn't seem to move, a massive Sarranid army has appeared. Is there no way to stop raiding and run away?

In the native game, just left click on the map in the direction you want to run.

You cannot move while raiding a village. It's seen as if the village buildings block your view per say of the enemy army and your troops are to busy. Even then you should have more of an advantage. If the army attacks you while you raid, you spawn with horses but they don't.

I know, but the point is it doesn't seem to work when I am raiding

As said, In native the game doesn't allow you to stop raiding if an enemy army comes up or something.

Or u might be using mods.

I always thought that was cheap. When I run up on an opposing lord raiding my village, he gets to run away like a coward. He should have no choice but to face my wrath.

Click on one of the menu bottons on the bottom to bring up another screen such as the party or character screen. This should interrupt the automatic time passing. When you leave the other screen and go back to the map it should be paused. This would then give you the option to click on the village to continue raiding or click somewhere else on the map to run away.

Not sure if this is exactly how it works since I am half asleep right now but I think there was a way to interrupt it anyways.

Hmm, well, I think I am okay for now, I restarted, and the Emir that attacked me only had about 40 people

Even though when THEY see you coming they can run the ♥♥♥♥ away like it ain't no problem.
