Literally not even a singleplayer mod.
I will definitely try that one out
Cheers for the help. I will try them out.
I know, it's not really a mod, it's just dlc.
Prophesy of Pendor is probably my all-time favorite mod for the game, though it's FAR more difficult than native. (at least early on.) It's also in a fantasy setting. (might be a pro or con, for you.)
Floris (either of them.) is the best mod for keeping the feeling of the original game, while massively overhauling and upgrading just about everything. (same map, factions, etc. - but TONS of additional content added/changed.)
Sadly the LOTR mod is insanely buggy and prone to crashing, if it wasn't it would probably be in my top 3. (when it's not buggy and crashing, it's a vastly different experience and incredibly fun... Same with the star wars mod for the original M&B, though that's even more buggy and unfinished than the lotr one lol)
Viking conquest, despite being DLC, rather than a mod, IS worth getting now - it's also a significantly different experience. (..which includes a few features I REALLY wish would get ported into certain mods...)
Gekokujo brings the game into Japan, though it takes a relatively long time to load upon starting the first time (not something that's really an issue, just something to be aware of - it didn't freeze, it just takes forever.)
Perisno is another fantasy-ish mod that's worth looking into, as well.
Also, you may have to go to external mod sites to find some of the mods, or to get them to work if the steam installer messes up (not sure they ever managed to fix that...) Just an FYI.
