Read The Stuff In the Link.....it'll help you....
Very needed.
The main features would be that it includes most, if not all, mini-mods (diplomacy, freelancer, formations, etc. etc.) as well as including several troop trees to choose from, a vast variety of rebalanced and entirely new weapons, larger army sizes, rebalanced bandits, etc.
Larger additions are entirely redesigned tournaments (toggleable), Bandit Kings/leaders (Toggleable) Redone faction titles (not sure if it's toggleable, but doesn't actually effect gameplay, just adds more uniqueness to each faction's names.), more in-depth archery mechanics/feedback (some is toggleable, some isn't, overall my favorite archery system in M&B's mods, including native and VC.) and a ton of other minor additions.
It also includes new companions, etc. though again, you aren't forced to use any of them.
There are however at least 3 different versions of the mod, and I don't believe the most up to date one is on the workshop (could be wrong about that though.)
It uses the same map, and if you turn everything that's toggleable off, plays almost exactly like native. This is why it's generally the mod I'd most recommend people new to mods look into, as it's a great point to start at. It's also in my top 5 mods I've ever played - for all games. ...possibly top 3.
Warband mods came in one piece. You can't choose the map, or the factions. That's the mod'author choice. You just obey his will for everything... ;-)
