Rome at War is incredibly historically accurate(Republic period, during the Etruscan wars) and has unique models and things for the mod.
Bellum Imperii is an imperial era one if I'm not mistaken, and it's main bonus is the size of the map, faction diversity and really, really immersive scenery of locations.
