Realisitic Campaign Map
I'm sure this topic has been addressed before but I want to discuss it from different angle.

One of the most unrealistic events in the game is that we don't see big battles between "full armies" of two fighting factions but rather we see much more "clashes" between some lords here or there.

Let's address the issue in real life.
When one nation declare war on another, gather all of its armies and launch a full attack campaign against the enemy faction, the common sense response of the other faction is to "gather its full army" as well and march toward the attacking army and meet them in a good terrain for battle. or if they are less they should camp in a well defended city and wait for the enemy to attack it.

Unfortunately what we see in game is completely different! I played many campaigns and I'm pretty sure there is little to no interaction between the opposing factions' armies unless they get very close to each other.

In reality, it is just nonsense to see the Ottomans marching in their full army trying to conquer Moscow while the Tsar army is marching "in the same time!!" against Istanbul trying to conquer it!
but incidents like this happens quite a lot in the game.

you see the armies of the opposing nations each roaming in completely different areas than the other just like if they don't know of the presence of their enemy :/

sometime even worse, one nation attack a city of the other, take it eventually and the other nation does absolutely nothing. While this incident might be realistic in case the king is too craven, it shouldn't happen so often as it happens in the game.

The point is, the behavior of the AI armies should always depend on the behaviour of the other army! they should move and maneuver based on the movement of the other army!

Also lords armies should stick together much more. We see many lords roaming around in the heart of the enemy lands which is completely nonsense!

I really hope they fix armies AI movements issues in bannerlord.

Also, please guys if you know of any mods that fix this issue or modify it a bit just comment to me the name of this mod.

I hope I was able to explain my point properly and very sorry for my bad english

If one faction gathers an army to besiege a town/castle it is quite comman that the faction, the fief belongs to, gathers an army too, to save the fief.
They need some time, but it happends usually.

On the other hand big battles between the armies do not happen so often, because the marshall of one faction runs away.

Well, I don't know why it didn't happen many times in my case.
The khergit lost 3 fiefs to the same Swadian army one after another while their army were looting villages in nords land :/

many similar incidents happens in my campaign even in "with fire and sword"

As for the big battles, that's right it doesn't happen because marshal run away, but aren't there any tweaks to go around that issue?

The truth is, the campaign AI in Warband sucks. Many people have complained about it, but I do not know of any tweak or mod that fixes it. You can try turning the campaign AI up to the highest difficult setting in the options screen; that might help a little. But in general, the AI will always do stupid things like what you describe. That is why the player's actions have such a huge impact on the outcome of wars.
