Only those which got a 'lance' in their name can, if my memory was right. A staff definitely can't.
But you can staff in original M&B.
And you totally can't couch in VCRE.
Wait... did you say crouch?
Yes I said that and ... UPS :-) I knew the word was something like that.
Ok, thanks then, so I will need a lance and a 2-handed weapons.
I had my hopes when I saw this shiny "War Hammer (Polearm)".
I thought I could have a 2-handed weapon and polearm in one slot.
But I can't remember if there are this type of weapon in warband Native.
I was always just waiting for a fight and then trying to get the horse to run fast and then waited for the couch.
This is much easier.
But yea, Polearm/2H weapons actually do pretty poorly on horseback compared to pure polearms or lances. Even one of my favorite weapons, the Heavy Great Long Axe (2H/pole), is only used to thrust on horseback even though it's normally a 56c swinging weapon.
It always starts as polearm and you have to switch it to 2H like this. This is why I don't use it anymore.
