Does this game need bug fix mods or stability mods before a first playthrough?

No, it's mostly bug free. You may see one every now and then, but most people don't encounter anything game breaking.

That was quick and thanks. I don't care if it's a few bugs but didn't know if it was like a bethesda game.

I don't think I've encountered anything game breaking. Some very minor stuff. You may see some bigger bugs when running mods.

Nope. Game is perfectly stable. Vanilla is extremely fun.
Mods are only there for even more fun, and replayability.
Some cool mods (Not in order):
Phantasy Calradia
Floris
Byrtenwalda
1257AD
Gekokuju
Fires of War

And alot more.

Awesome, thanks. I'll check one out after getting bored with vanilla.

You could try with TweakMB right away. It's not a mod, but a tool that you can use to change certain things to fit your style. Things such as how much ammo one quiver of arrow have, make cattle follow you, quest xp/gold among a few things.

Ill keep that in mind after playing vanilla for awhile and find something I want to change. Sounds like a good tool. Thanks
