However, with cheats enabled, clicking anywere on the map while Ctrl is held down will teleport you to it.
To speed up your party relative to the other actors on the map, here are some hints, which I post once or twice per day:
- footsloggers slow you down. Keep your men mounted, companions included.
- unconscious people slow you down. Rest at an inn, or at least a castle before you risk traveling.
- a large army is slower. Do not hire people you do not need, especially early on.
- an unhappy army is slower. Use food, victories, or even free drinks to keep morale up.
- many trade goods are heavy. When transporting, for example, ale, use extra horses in inventory.
- the path-finding party skill makes you go faster. Have a companion specialize in it.
Then when you look through the discussions page, you can have the document open the whole time and paste whatever needs to be said. It will save you a little time, and a lot of convenience.
I just wanted to tell you that since I see you posting the same stuff all the time.
Ctrl-space just makes game time go faster - you still cover the same distance per game day, it just takes less real time. If someone faster than you is chasing you, he will still catch you, because he will still be covering more ground per unit of time.
