I would have been fine with Vaegir and Kerghit, and would not have been surprised by Sarranid. But Nord? Nope.
two handers - Vaegirs, Rhodocks
sabers - Sarranids, Khergits
lance - Swadians, Khergits, Sarranids
axes - Nords, Vaegirs
crossbows - Swadians, Rhodocks
In a similar way, you can assign points for liking cavalry, liking mobility versus liking solid infantry.
For example, a question like this:
"Your scouts report an ambush in the grove which your path will soon cross. Do you:
- order your cavalry to charge, trees be damned
- just ride around the grove, and force the ambushers to try and catch up with you
- use your shield infantry to methodically flush the enemy out
- set fire to the grove, and cheer your marksmen as they shoot the ambushers fleeing the flames
- throw a feast with lots of butter, and wait until the enemy crashes the party
