How to get single player 1866 mod?

I am playing M&B since a long time. Especially Warband: Viking Conquest. Now I found out that there is an wild western mod calles '1866'. But I can't find out where I could download it and if it is playable on Steam.

I mostly like to play with the native Americans (sometimes stupidly called 'Indians') in single player.

Could somebody tell me where I can find this mod or something like that?

1866 is a mod for the original Mount and Blade, not Warband. It has not been officially ported to Warband, and is not available on the Workshop.
You can, however, make a few simple changes to get it and any other unported M&B mod running on Warband.

When you search for 1866...but I readed it is for multiplayer only somewhere. Guess this is the full version (single and multiplayer).

I am also going to try 1755 Old Frontier. But don't know if it's going to work on my Steam version of Warband.

The one you found is multiplayer only,and for Warband. The creator replaced the Native multiplyer maps and items with stuff from 1866.

It will work fine, you just have to install it manually.
