Can't find the right Tundra bandits

I am returning to playing this game after having let it sit for a while, and I have a question about a situation that I just cannot remember how to handle.

I have a quest from the guild master of Rivacheg to finds some tundra bandits who attacked a caravan heading there.

I met a lord on the road who said he saw them a few hours earlier near a Slezk castle. But there are about a dozen bands of bandits nearby.

I have killed several, but they apparently aren't the correct band of bandits.

And now the trail is growing cold.

How do I find the right one?

The group you are searching for will be highlighted in a different colour (like blue maybe?).

They also won't necessarily be anywhere near the last reported sighting. Since they are "Tundra bandits" chances are they won't be in the desert by Ahmerrad, so that's lucky.

If you know of a bandit camp in the area, camping out near that should work. If you don't know of any bandit camps, try searching around the woods just north of Khudan.

Thanks. I've had this game for a long, long time and have logged about 400 hours in it, but I haven't played in a while and I could not remember how to find these guys to save my soul from Helheim.

Different color sounds familiar now.

I have found the base, so I'll go hang there.

Sometimes the bandits you're charged to find as part of a quest for the guild master moves WAY out of the area they're supposed to be in. I was supposed to find some bandits near Tulga and found them moving around the area of Ichamur

This is one quest where I save+exit, enable cheats, go back in game, Ctrl+T, find bandits and run straight for them.

I dont blame you one bit, hell sometimes I do control T and I STILL cant find them.

I never take those quests until I know where the bandits camps are.
