1. Reinstall the mod again and see if that helps.

2. If it still doesn't work, look for the file that the error message is talking about :
Open up your Warband folder -> Modules -> TLD -> Resource

Now try and see if the file meshes_face_gen.brf is actually inside that Resource folder.

3. If it's not, then the mod probably didn't get installed properly. Try downloading your The Last Days mod from a different source, and see if that helps. Maybe the source file where you're trying to get from is corrupted. So look for a different place that hosts the file and try downloading it from the new location, and then try launching it again.

4. Also make sure you didn't create "nested" folders of the mod by accident. For example, make sure you don't have a duplicate [TLD] folder, one inside another : Modules/TLD/TLD/...etc. If so, then you should remove the duplicate, of course.

*********************
Edit : a few more things off the top of my head --

5. Also make sure you didn't just download their compatibility patch, instead of the full version of the mod. The patch will only work if you already have the mod installed, then the patch will update it to the latest version.

If you only installed the patch, then of course nothing will work.

6. Make sure you extracted the file properly to the correct location. Just double-check to make sure.

I get this messaage aswell, : Mesh names should have at least 2 characters: rename "0" in file, "Modules/TLD/Resource/tld_missiles_a.brf" I get that I need to change that but I dont know how, cause I haven't got that program to open it up. What should I do?
If you open up the [Resource] folder, is the tld_missiles_a.brf file in there, or is it missing?

I have this exact same problem: I downloaded and installed the mod and patching thing, but when I started it up, I get the "hsl_data_handles are missing or not valid or something" warning, and I get a black screen. I checked everything posted, and I have the "tld_missiles_a.brf" in my folder, and I have the "meshes_face_gen.brf" in my folder. I don't know what the problem is. Any help?
