You see, the real challenge of making a multiplayer campaign mode for warband is the way pausing the game works. You just stand still, and everything stops. With multiple people playing the game that can either lead to some major trolling with people pausing and unpausing the game at will, or this feature would be removed as a whole, which would be devastating. That feature allows you to make strategic movements and stratergize defenses and ofenses by giving you time to think. And then there are the battles. When engaged in a battle, the game pauses around you to simulate that battle. What would happen to people not in a battle? Would they slow down? would they pause and wait? Its really only mount and blades pause feature that creates a problem, but boy is it a problem.

P.S. - Sorry for sounding like such a downer, because being able to play in a multiplayer campaign would be really cool. I mean come on, how awesome would it be to wage war against your friends factions.
@Rayman I don't see the problem of just having pausing like in all other MP games.
Could you imagine if your trying to cross the map and all of a sudden you just pause because somebody had to go eat dinner and you couldnt do anything
And thats actually a really smart solution, but a little quirky here and there. But then again, mount and blade can be a quirky game at times
